Q.We would like information on the women at Valley Forge, during 1777. All the wives, daughters, servants, Sally Custis, Kitty Greene, etc.

A.There is no listing of men or women at Valley Forge at this time. For many of the women we will never know who they were. Some of the more famous included:

• Lucy Knox
• Martha Washington

• Kitty Stirling
