The IHA (owners of ushistory.org) is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation which is exempt from federal income tax as a public charity under Sections 501 (c) (3) and 509 of the Internal Revenue Code. The Association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and led by an electronic project team consisting of an interdisciplinary group of volunteers and paid professionals.
