William Penn's Welcome Week

Overview

This is an opportunity for small to mid-sized cultural organizations to participate in a collective marketing activity. We all appreciate your willingness to support a new effort that has the potential of developing into an important collaboration, directly benefiting the people of the region and each of our institutions.

Goal

To provide the vehicle for residents of the region and tourists to discover the rich historical resources in the Philadelphia region related to William Penn and his legacy during a focused marketing period that makes collections and/or programs not always available accessible to the public. It is understood that this is a pilot program with the potential for replication around other historical figures or events and that it will explore opportunities for joint ticketing.

Audience participation flexible but with suggested itineraries for those who may wish to "do it all" or who have special interests.
