Letter: Bar Hopping or Board Hopping?
With all the drinking and drug use with our youth in America, you'd think the City of Philadelphia would bend over backwards to accommodate these skateboarders.They live in your city, and bring friends from all over the world to play in that park, eat in your restaurants, stay in your hotels, rent your cars, shop in your stores, dance in your nightclubs, etc.
I guess their money is no good.
If it were me and I were Mayor John Street, or even the parents of these young men and women, I'd rather have them skating in Love Park than in one of the city's many crack houses and shooting up.
But that's just me.
So much for the city that "loves you back."
