Re SKATE OFF

ONLY A PEA-BRAIN city like Philly would have an ongoing controversy about an issue as small as skateboarding in Love Park.

Philadelphia is a city opposed to new ideas and youth. It is also a city of fines, fees, penalties — and the word NO. Like Dracula, it survives only by sucking the blood of the living unfortunate enough to live in close proximity, and, again like Dracula, it is incapable of seeing itself in the mirror.

What is reality to Philly leaders is the cunning, self-serving and warped rationale they routinely utter to justify the proliferation of social and political backwardness.
