| Tour Guide | Conduct tours of historic Hope Lodge; interpreting mansion façade, grounds, 18th century and colonial revival period rooms to visitors of all ages | |
| Tour Guide for School Groups | Conduct tours of historic Hope Lodge; interpreting the 18th century rooms of the house and / or demonstrating 18th century hearth cooking to school age children. | |
| Clerical | Assist in the preparation of Friends and site mailings by addressing, stamping, and stuffing envelope; assisting with the filing of Friends' event and program documentation. | |
| Museum Shop Cashier | Handle museum shop sales | |
| Receptionist | Welcome and greet visitors; answer telephone; take messages; provide assistance, information and direction to visitors and callers; handle admission ticket sales and museum shop sales. | |
| Gardening | Care for the gardens of historic Hope Lodge by planting, weeding, watering, mulching | |
| Historic Housekeeper | Clean architectural features of the house and the historic collection items in keeping with museum guidelines (a volunteer can "adopt" a room for personal care and attention). | |
| Summer Camp Counselor | Instruct/assist camp participants in the making of colonial / colonial revival crafts and/or instruct / assist camp participants in playing colonial / colonial revival period games | |

| Admission Taker | Welcome and greet visitors; handle special event admission ticket sales; duties maybe performed outdoors in cold and/or inclement weather; provide basic information about the event | |
| Baking | Provide individually wrapped baked goods for sale for special events | |
| Food Cashier | Sell food items to guests from behind a food counter or snack table; duties maybe performed outdoors in cold and/or inclement weather | |
| Food Preparation/Server | Prepare food items; serve food to guests as a waitperson, or behind a food counter or snack table; duties maybe performed outdoors in cold and/or inclement weather | |
| Parking Assistant | Provide direction to visitors and guests during special events and functions on proper areas to park his/her vehicle, duties maybe performed in cold and/or inclement weather; provide basic information about the event | |
| Room Guide | Interpret an 18th century or colonial revival period room in historic Hope Lodge to visitors of all ages | |
| Set-up/Clean-up Assistant | Assist in chalking tent and table sites lines, table / tent set up and breakdown, trash can placement and collection, distribution of straw and firewood, as needed and general grounds clean up; duties maybe performed in cold and/or inclement weather | |
