Colonial Valentine
Learn of Elizabeth’s loves and losses as costumed actors present vignettes on this candlelit tour of the historic Keith House. Admission charged. Reservations required.
March 14
Charter Day
The Keith House is open for free tours in honor of the granting of the Pennsylvania Charter to William Penn. Visitors can tour the historic Keith House at their own pace. Volunteer will be on hand to answer questions and let people know about the work of the Friends of Graeme Park, future events, and membership opportunities. Light refreshments will be available. Free.
March 20 and 21
Volunteer Recruitment and Tour
Join us for a free tour of the Keith House, meet our volunteers and learn about how you can get involved at Graeme Park. Saturday at 10 a.m. Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Free
April 9-11
School of the Soldier
The 71st Pennsylvania Voluntary Infantry will be encamped at Graeme Park all weekend drilling and training their new recruits for Civil War reenactments. The public is invited to come out on Saturday to see a firing demonstration and learn about camp life for soldiers and civilians alike. Admission charged.
May 9
Mother’s Day Breakfast
Bring Mom out for a special Mother’s Day treat — breakfast and a tour of the Keith House. Learn about the role of wives and mothers during the Colonial period while the kiddos are kept busy with a special craft. Admission charged. Reservations required.
May 23
Tea for Teddy and Me
Bring that special little girl (or boy) out to Graeme Park for a special tea party with their favorite Teddy bear or doll. Sweets, cookies, and cakes, ice tea and punch will be served along with a special kid-friendly tour of the Keith House and craft. Admission charged. Reservations required.
Saturdays May 30-October 30
Farm and Flea Market
Join us for this weekly farm market where everything is made or grown by the sellers. Once a month, we’ll be joined by the Horsham Preservation and Historical Association for a joint farm and flea market. There will be no market on July 17 or September 25. Free.
June 5
Horsham Day
Join us in Deep Meadow Park for Horsham Day. Learn about what Graeme Park has to offer, our upcoming events, volunteer and membership opportunities and more.
June 20
Father’s Day Lunch
Treat Dad to a day out with demonstrations of Colonial trades, military, and food. Admission charged. Reservations tbd.
June 26-27
Once Upon a Time in Montgomery County
Join us at the East Norriton Twp. Facility to learn about the history of our area from local historical societies, speakers, and crafters as well as more about Graeme Park. Sat. 9-5; Sun. 10-3. Admission TBD.
July 17
Celtic Heritage Festival
Celebrate the Scottish heritage of the Keith, Graeme, and Fergusson families in this fun-filled day of music, dance, food, vendors, kids activities, and more. Admission charged.
August 9-13
Colonial Adventure Camp
Kids entering 4th grade through 6th grade get a taste of colonial life in this weeklong camp featuring lots of fun, hands-on activities. Advance sign-up and payment required. Click for more information
Aug. 22
Living History Sunday
A topic in Colonial history will be explored. Admission charged.
September 11
Concert on the Lawn with the West Chester Swing Kings
Join us for a trip down memory lane with songs from the 1940s by Glenn Miller, County Basie, Duke Ellington and Tommy Dorsey, mixed with more modern songs from artists like Brian Setzer and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Rain date: 9/12. Admission charged.
September 25
Graeme Park Dog Fair
In honor of Elizabeth’s beloved Fidele, Graeme Park is going to the dogs! Bring your pooch to show off his best trick or costume. Shop for the newest pet products with our vendors or meet the rescue groups and consider adding a new member to your family. Other entertainment and activities TBD. Admission charged.
October 17
Fall Fun Festival
Bring the family out for a day of fall fun and frolic. Hay rides, pumpkin decorating, costume contests, and more. Rain date: 10/24. Admission charged.
October 22, 23, 29, 30
Haunted Moonlight Tours
Learn the history of Graeme Park and why Elizabeth’s spirit may not rest easily on these haunted tours of the Keith House. Admission charged. Reservations required.
