 Willings Alley Willings Alley 3rd St. between Walnut and Spruce Sts. This was the location of Thomas Willings mansion. He was one of the richest men in colonial America, and founded the first private bank in the U.S. (The Bank of Pennsylvania.) He also helped establish the first stock exchange with Robert Morris, and was the first president of the First National Bank of America.  Clickable map |
