Camp Weeks/Themes

camper8

We offer 7 one-week sessions of camp throughout the summer, for various age groups. Our most popular "Military" camp revolves around the life of the 18th century soldier. Campers take part in military drill, soldier-related crafts, and learn about the soldier's uniform and the equipment he carried. Thursdays feature campfire cooked rations and a rousing "Capture the Flag" battle concludes the fun-filled week. This year we are offering 3 weeks of Military Camp for the K-2nd grade group, 3 Military weeks for the 3rd-5th grade group. New this year is Growing Up Along the Brandywine for grades 2 – 5. This week’s focus will be the lives of 18th century children. What they wore, the chores they did, education and entertainment.
