The "NO Walgreens" sign and table at the Chestnut Hill Fall for the Arts event was observed by thousands of people walking Germantown Avenue. 1,500 pieces of literature were distributed. Over 700 signatures of individuals from the surrounding communities of Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill, Blue Bell, Fort Washington, and, of course, Springfield, were gathered from people who agreed NEVER to shop at Walgreens — if they build on the Black Horse Inn tract.
