Your contribution is being solicited by the Springfield Township Historical Society to further the cause of the preservation and improvement of the Black Horse Inn. The intent of the Society is to apply contributed funds only to this end. The fate of the Inn is not, however, solely within the control of the Society. Should it become apparent, despite the best efforts of the Society and the other organizations, both public and private, working to this end, that further expenditure of funds is unwarranted, the Directors of the Society will apply your contribution to other local preservation projects that reflect similar historical concerns.
