CANCELLED Candlelight Tour of the Battlefield

Join this popular evening event with continuous guided tours within the battlefield and first-person interpreters relating accounts of this bloody conflict where over 50 patriots lie forever in a mass grave. Flashlights and comfortable shoes recommended. $5 per person, $20 per family (immediate family of 4 or more)

Town Tours & Village Walks Program at Paoli Battlefield

Thursday, June 24, 6pm, Paoli Battlefield, Malvern PA

Chester County’s award-winning historical program comes to the Battlefield. First-person interpreters tell the story of this Revolutionary War battle. Archeological Displays demonstrate modern techniques and equipment used in battlefield archeology. Registration information to be announced. Free

2010 Let Freedom Ring Ceremony

Sunday, July 4, 1-2:30pm, Paoli Battlefield, Malvern PA

Celebrate Independence Day at a real Revolutionary War battlefield as we join with the nationwide bell-ringing celebration with a guest speaker, music and children’s activities such as musket drills & children’s calligraphy. Free

Third Annual Remembrance Day Fundraiser

Date and Time TBA but it will be close to September 20, the anniversary of the Paoli Massacre, The General Warren Inne, Old Lancaster Ave., Malvern PA

Following in the tradition of our past events, Afternoon with the Generals and Spirits of 1777 a new theme program will be presented accompanied by excellent light refreshments prepared by the chefs of this fabled inn which played an important role in the Philadelphia Campaign.
