Internship Opportunity
Hope Lodge offers summer internship opportunities for undergraduate and/or graduate students interested in American History, Historic Preservation, or Museum Studies. Interns help with the administration and interpretation of the site. Interns can guide tours for visitors, perform important research, and assist in the planning and presentation of special events. Interns work directly with the Site Administrator, Custodial Guide/Museum Assistant, and Board Members and volunteers of the Friends of Hope Lodge. Special events during the summer months include the British Car Show, Evening Concerts, Lectures and a week-long history summer camp. A minimum of 150 hours is expected. Site staff will customize programs to the intern's interests and will support the intern in obtaining school credit for his/her efforts.
