Merchant Day

Merchant Day is an exciting event for merchants and reenactors to "gear up" for the beginning of the reenacting season. Everyone is welcome to learn about local military reenactments occurring throughout the reenacting season and speak with reenactment recruiting officers if you are looking to join a regiment. Shopping amongst colonial merchants selling authentic furniture, clothing, household items, and games allows visitors to step back in time at this open-air marketplace. You are invited to take part in our living history program by meeting colonial craft demonstrators, speaking with our colonial cooks, and enjoy the lectures. After visiting the merchants, take a tour of the mansion and visit our well-appointed gift shop.
