2010 Hope Lodge Calendar
| March 20, April 17, and May 8, 2010 | Colonial Cooking with Doctor Clarissa Dillon The hearth cooking workshops led by Dr. Clarissa F. Dillon, and often held at Hope Lodge, will be at the Thomas Massey House in Bromall, PA during the spring of 2010. Workshop dates are March 20, April 17, and May 8, 2010. | Sat. April 10 10am-2pm | Clean-Up Day Please join the Friends of Hope Lodge for a Clean-up Day on Saturday, April 10, from 10am to 2pm. Volunteers are welcome for all, or any part, of that time. We will be cleaning up the grounds, raking leaves and picking up tree debris from the winter storms. Please bring your own rake. The Friends will provide lunch. (Rain date is Sunday, April 11 from 1pm to 4pm) |
| Sun. April 25 noon-4pm | Sheep Shearing CANCELLED Wool was a common fabric of the 18th and 19th century, used for everything from clothing to household items. Producing it was a very labor intensive process that all started with the fleece from sheep. Come to Hope Lodge and see how wool was sheared from the sheep and learn how it was transformed into cloth along with a special display of clothing of the 18th and 19th century. |
| Wed. May 5 12:30pm to 4:30pm | Whitemarsh Bus Tour Whitemarsh Township and historic sites, including Hope Lodge, are collaborating on a bus tour of the township's historic places. The tour will be Wednesday May 5 from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. The cost is $20. Please see the flyer for more details. |

| Fri. July 30 Sunset | Movie Night Come to Hope Lodge and watch a family-friendly movie on a large screen! Free admission. (Rain date July 31) |
